One of my anons said my music taste sucks, and that’s okay because everybody has their own opinion.

But then I got to thinking:

Who is in the place to call one piece of music better than the other?

Who says Frank Sinatra’s Strangers In The Night is better than Lady Gaga’s Speechless?

And the other way around.

Some might think Strangers In The Night is better, and some might think Speechless is better.

BUT WHO’S RIGHT?

They’re both songs, and we’re all humans and we all have opinions.

What makes someone’s opinion right and the other’s wrong?

Nothing is right, and nothing is wrong.

They’re songs, and they will always be there.

From a song like At Last, to a song like Tik Tok.

That is the beauty of opinions and music, we can take what we want and leave what we don’t, but that doesn’t make one better or mean the other will fade away.

I listen to artists from Nina Simone to Fleetwood Mac, from Bjork to Nicki Minaj.

And there’s nothing that makes an artist better than the other.

They all have their own place in the world, and they will always have that place, no matter what someone says.

And we will always have opinions, but never think yours is the right one.

Cause like I said, no one is right and no one is wrong.
